How Does It Work?
The Tailgater Bundle consists of a fully
automatic, portable satellite antenna and an HD solo receiver (model ViP
211z). Portable and lightweight, it's easy to carry from one outdoor
activity to the next. The Tailgater antenna connects to the ViP 211z
receiver using a single coax cable for easy setup. Simply plug the
Tailgater Portable HD TV System into your TV and in less than 15 minutes
you can start watching live HD television programming. The Tailgater
will automatically locate DISH satellites so you never have to point a
manual satellite antenna.
The Tailgater antenna draws power from
the receiver through the coax cable. You will need a power inverter to
power the Tailgater antenna, ViP 211z receiver, and TV from your
vehicle's DC power supply (120-volt AC power outlet required). If you
are watching TV from your vehicle for more than a few hours,
periodically run your vehicle to maintain battery life. For extended
use, a portable power generator, power pack, or alternative accessory
battery is recommended.
